  Local has become a go to spot for casual fine dining in Ferndale. Known for their indoor outdoor wood burning fire place, elegant and eclectic decor, and large patio space. The seasonal menu is on the smaller side but offers something for everyone. The Emily's salad and fried green tomatoes are favorite staples, but they offer more experimental dishes as well. Although I have dined at Local often we decided to go in last night just for a drink and dessert. I had a gorgeous brownie dish. I didn't get a photo because I couldn't wait to dig in. It was amazing! It's a very cozy spot and I would say better for couples and groups of adults.
